Seemingly in the background compared with Graydon's ministry, Suzie is actually a tower of strength in their family. In Sapporo, she'll double up as both mother and teacher to their two children; Marcia, 7 and Marcus, 6, to ensure that they do not fall behind their peers when they rejoin school in Singapore.

17 years in the church already, Suzie is a faithful member who among other things, had served as the nursery representative and administrator for Division 22.

Like all women, Suzie enjoys shopping. But beneath that easy going and unassuming demeanor is a quick-thinking lady who can play a mean game of scrabble.

Above all, her quiet faith can be summarised in her favourite quote from Andrew Murray: "We have a God who delights in impossibilities."
